Registration for the Public Contest of the Prefecture Ends on July 21
It will be possible to register for the public contest until July 21. To compete, interested parties must register through the Itame website, the organizing body. The registration fees for the contest for elementary, middle, and technical education range from R$ 70 to R$ 110, depending on the desired position.
The Prefecture’s contest will include an objective test, a stage scheduled for all positions in competition, and is set for September 1. It is worth mentioning that the consultation to the application locations will be released on August 26.
The other phases include title analysis for pedagogical teachers, practical tests for road machinery operators, and training courses for the positions of community health agent and endemic disease combat agent.
The contest for elementary, middle, and technical education will be valid for two years from the date of approval of the final result. The period may be extended once, for an equal period, at the discretion of the municipal government, as stated in the announcement.
Advantages of Taking a Public Contest
Passing a public contest offers financial and professional stability. After approximately three years of work and the completion of the probationary period, a public servant can only be dismissed for serious reasons. The average salary of a public servant tends to be significantly higher than that of workers in the private sector.
Additionally, the public contest offers equal opportunities for all candidates, with tests organized by an impartial evaluation body. For those who cannot afford registration fees, there is the possibility of requesting a partial or total exemption from the fees.
