The multinational Aryzta applied an investment of BRL 400 million to build a new bread factory in Minas Gerais
Later this year, Minas Gerais will receive the largest Aryzta factory in the country, a Swiss multinational that produces bread for retail and food service and promises to generate thousands of jobs in the region. An investment of approximately R$ 400 million will be applied in the production line that will be inaugurated in Pouso Alegre, in the south of Minas Gerais, and will be the fifth largest factory of the multinational in the 19 countries where it operates.

Multinational Aryzta factory promises thousands of jobs
The company foresees that around 300 direct jobs and more than a thousand indirect jobs will be generated at the factory. The investment will have a capacity to produce up to 75 loaves of bread per hour and the factory is expected to start operations by November of this year.
According to a partner at BTS Properties, Viktor Nobre, the process of developing a factory for a multinational company requires special dedication, with the involvement of teams and also suppliers from different countries.
Viktor also states that it is necessary to understand processes, demands, priorities and find the best solutions. According to Nobre, the company has the support of the Government of the State of Minas Gerais and the Municipality of Pouso Alegre.
Aryzta expansion in the market

The multinational's new factory, which promises to generate several job openings, had works started in April last year and occupies an area of 18.713,63 m². The new unit will be the first in the bakery sector to have continuous freezing technology, that is, the breads will be produced automatically, without the need for manual work, ensuring that the product is more standardized.
