The Ministry of Tourism recently partnered with the National Service for Commercial Learning (Senac) to offer vacancies in free professional qualification courses. The opportunities are aimed at candidates residing in the Federal District in areas such as events, tourism, or food.
List of Free Qualification Courses Offered by the Ministry of Tourism and Senac
In total, 100 vacancies are being made available, and the courses can be completed entirely online for young people over 16 and adults residing in Brasília. Each modality from the Ministry of Tourism and Senac has a different electronic address:
Ceremony and Protocol for Events
This course aims to present key concepts and criteria for the ceremony and protocol of various types of events. It is focused on entrepreneurs and professionals in the events sector. With a workload of 40 hours, students must have completed elementary education, possess internet navigation skills, and have access to a computer with internet.

Aims to enhance professionals working in the distribution or handling of food with knowledge that enables the application of good practice procedures as a means of preventing harm caused by unhygienic conduct, carrying out operational steps, analyzing the facilities of establishments, focusing on selling food that is safe for consumers’ health.
Travel Agent
Aims to teach the student to carry out their functions in travel and tourism agencies. Responsible for mediating the purchase of airline, railway, bus, and maritime tickets, making reservations for accommodations, meals, and entertainment when necessary, renting cars, and providing guiding and interpreting services, arranging insurance, and organizing the excursion itinerary.

To register and participate in the Ministry of Tourism’s free professional qualification courses, it is necessary to fill in some important information such as CPF, full name, email, cell phone, date of birth, address, and others.
The initiative of free professional qualification courses by the Ministry of Tourism and Senac aims to present key concepts, identify deficit demands, and qualify professionals already working in these areas. To be eligible for the completion certificate, the student must achieve a score of 70% or higher in the final assessment and complete the course within 30 calendar days from the enrollment date.
