For Santos, in São Paulo, Modec Is Looking for Professionals to Fill an Internship Position in Chemical Engineering

Founded in 1968, MODEC is a general contractor specialized in engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of floating production systems, a leader in large projects in Brazil and around the world. Today, the company is seeking professionals to fill the intern position in chemical engineering, in the City of Santos, São Paulo.

Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, the company has three main offices located in Tokyo, Houston, and Singapore. Additionally, it has regional offices in Angola, Australia, Brazil, China, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Mexico, and Vietnam. With around 4,000 employees from over 25 countries, the company holds 51% of the shares of SOFEC, Inc and 20% of the shares of Cameron Japan Ltd.

Currently, Modec is looking for a professional for the position of Chemical Engineering Intern to work at its office located in Santos, São Paulo.

To perform functions such as:

Preparation of analytical tracking spreadsheets for ships;

Support in the development and review of operational and laboratory procedures;

Monitoring and evaluation of operational and process variables;

Support in organizing the documentation of on-board chemicals and those maintained in logistics bases;

Support for corporate contracts regarding services and products related to chemicals and laboratories.

Requirements: Pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering; Expected graduation in 1 and a half or 2 years; Intermediate/advanced English; Advanced Excel – VBA is a plus;
