Right after the conclusion of its last competition in 2022, Eletrobras is planning its next selection process for 2023, offering 832 vacancies in its subsidiaries Eletronorte, CGT Eletrosul, Furnas, and Chesf, according to the Folha Dirigida website.
The competition held last year offered 137 vacancies for the position of Eletronuclear, and the positions offered by Eletrobras in the 2023 competition have not yet been announced.
According to Eletrobras’s statement this Thursday (09), the 2023 competition will be officially launched in the second half of this month of March, with labor contracts.

Eletrobras states: “The aim of the job offer in the new competition is to bring in new talents and renew the workforce, directing hiring to increase diversity, in various dimensions, within the staff.”
More About Eletrobras’s Competition
The hires from the competition will be for the areas of Maintenance and Operation, and for positions with high school, technical, and higher education levels. The benefits offered by Eletrobras, in addition to transportation vouchers, include meal aid, complementary pension, and health insurance. The salaries have not yet been confirmed.
Eletrobras further concludes: “With the selection process, the companies of Eletrobras move towards a workforce with a rich composition of young talents and experienced professionals, encouraging the exchange of experiences and learning.”
The Last Eletrobras Competition
The last Eletrobras competition, in 2022, offered 137 vacancies for the position of Eletronuclear, with opportunities for work in the cities of Rio de Janeiro and Angra dos Reis, in the state of Rio de Janeiro.
For the high school and technical levels, 33 vacancies were offered for the positions of radiological protection professional, nuclear protected area security, work security, and technicians in electrician, civil construction, electromechanics, electronics, electrotechnics, environment, and chemistry.
The salaries for the above positions were R$ 3,653.06 for the opportunities in Angra dos Reis and R$ 3,740.73 for those in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The vacancies offered for higher education were 104 for the positions of administrator, lawyer, archivist, social worker, biologist, accountant, designer, economist, engineer (various), physicist, chemist, pedagogue, and analysts. In these vacancies, successful candidates would earn R$ 7,209.26 for work in Angra dos Reis and R$ 7,382.28 in Rio de Janeiro.
