The Bank of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Banrisul) plans to launch a new public contest focused on professionals in the field of Information Technology soon. With the hiring of Cebraspe as the organizing body, the notice of the contest in the IT field is expected to have 100 vacancies for the position of IT technician. This certification aims to strengthen the bank’s technology team, reflecting the growing demand for qualified professionals in the sector.

The vacancies in the public contest in the field of Information Technology are distributed across different specialization areas within IT, including:

Digital Transformation and IT Management;
Database Administration;
Infrastructure and Operations;
Information Security;
Software Development.

Those interested in the IT contest at Banrisul must have a higher education degree or postgraduate degree in Information Technology, courses recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC), and a minimum workload of 360 hours.

Find Out When The Banrisul Public Contest Notice Will Be Released

Banrisul expects to publish the notice for the IT contest in the first half of 2025. The expectation is that the document will provide details about the public contest with vacancies in the field of Information Technology, including registration dates, fee amounts, and exemption criteria.

It is important to mention that Banrisul’s selection will also include vacancies for people with disabilities (PwD), Black People, Trans People, and Members of Indigenous Peoples. This measure promotes inclusion and diversity in the workplace.

The registration fee for the public contest for Information Technology will be R$ 132, with exemptions predicted for candidates with disabilities and those with a monthly income of up to one and a half minimum wages per family member. This exemption policy also aims to facilitate access for candidates from various socioeconomic backgrounds for the IT contest at Banrisul.

Selection For The Banrisul Public Contest

The contest will consist of two main stages: a multiple-choice objective test with 80 questions divided between General and Specific Knowledge, and a written test with an essay of up to 30 lines on specific topics related to IT.

The stages for the vacancies in Information Technology at Banrisul will be conducted on the same day, in just one shift, lasting up to 5 hours.

Only the candidates with the best scores on the objective test will have their written tests corrected. The number of corrections will be three times the number of available vacancies or, at least, ten corrections. Banrisul employees have excellent competitive benefits such as:
