Californian Company Develops Conversion Kit That Transforms Any Bike Into Electric With A Range Of Up To 120 Km.

The E-Switchy conversion kit has the answer for those who want to turn their traditional bike into an electric one. All of this is possible for less than 600 euros and an installation time of 5 minutes.

Details On How The Conversion To Electric Bike Works

The E-Switchy conversion kit is sold by the Californian company Switchy, where the conversion kits are designed to offer easy and affordable ways to electrify any bike model. The purpose of converting equipment to an electric bike is simple; however, it is very powerful, as the kits are sold in three distinct models (Switch One, Two, and Three) that promise to adapt to the needs of each cyclist.

The conversion is done very simply by replacing the front wheel with the one included in the conversion kit.

On the other hand, but no less important, are its lithium-ion batteries, which have a lifespan of over 5 years, guaranteeing 90% capacity after 1000 charge cycles. The expected lifetimes of the batteries and mechanical components from the brand ensure that the electric bike will accompany the cyclist on various adventures or in the realm of work mobility.

The conversion kit allows for adding some important features to the bikes, such as an anti-theft system to protect the consumer’s investment, in addition to a display that shows some important information in real-time.

As mentioned earlier, Switchy kits are sold in three different driving models. The Switch One allows for a maximum range of 88 km and 5 smart pedal assistance modes and costs 620 dollars, approximately R$ 3,057.

The Switchy Two allows for a maximum range of 56 km; however, it features a slightly more complex installation, but simultaneously quick in just 5 minutes, costing 660 dollars, the equivalent of R$ 3,255.19.

Finally, the Switchy THREE allows for a range of 120 km on a single charge, with an installation time of 8 minutes costing 640 dollars, equivalent to R$ 3,156.54 in direct conversion.
