Trainee Program 2024 Offers Unique Opportunities for Women in Leading Companies in the Energy Sector. Apply Now!

ENGIE, TAG, and Jirau Energia announced the launch of the Trainee Program 2024, with vacancies exclusively for women. Applications for the program are open until February 1st and offer professional development opportunities in one of the largest companies in the energy sector in the country.

The initiative reinforces the companies’ commitment to gender equality and diversity in the workplace. ENGIE, in particular, aims to achieve 50% of women in its workforce by 2030, and the Trainee Program 2024 is an integral part of this strategy.

History of Success and Commitment to the Training and Hiring of Female Professionals

In 2022, ENGIE hired its first group of female engineers through the trainee program, and in 2023 all participants were hired permanently. According to Luciana Nabarrete, director of people, processes, and sustainability at ENGIE Brasil Energia, the trainee program 2024 is part of the Women’s Career Journey, which includes initiatives such as technical courses for women in communities near the company’s operations and internal development and career acceleration actions.

Requirements and Benefits Offered by ENGIE’s Trainee Program and Others 2024 and Applications

Candidates must identify as female, be pursuing a degree in engineering, administration, economics, or information technology, have graduated between December 2020 and December 2023, and reside in one of the cities where vacancies are available. Additionally, an intermediate level of English is desirable. Those selected for the Trainee Program 2024 at ENGIE and others will receive a salary and benefits such as transportation allowance, meal voucher, dental assistance, life insurance, and medical assistance.
