Caoa Chery Launches Tiggo 8 PRO 2026 in Brazil for R$ 201 Thousand: 7-Seater SUV, 187 hp, Fuel Consumption of 12.5 km/l and Premium Package That Outperform Rivals
Caoa Chery has started sales of the Tiggo 8 PRO 2026, a 7-seater SUV produced in Anápolis (GO) and already available at dealerships in major cities such as São Paulo. The model, unveiled on March 1, 2025, hits the national market priced at R$ 201 thousand, betting on an aggressive cost-benefit proposal against competitors like Jeep Commander, Toyota Corolla Cross, and Volkswagen Tiguan.
Equipped with a 1.6 turbo engine delivering 187 hp, the Tiggo 8 PRO 2026 combines performance with competitive fuel consumption, achieving up to 12.5 km/l on the highway, according to official data from Inmetro. The lower price and standard equipment package reinforces the brand’s strategy to compete in one of the most crowded segments in the country.
Engine and Performance

The Tiggo 8 PRO 2026 is equipped with a 1.6 direct injection turbo engine, delivering 187 hp of power and 28 kgfm of torque. The transmission is an oil-bathed dual-clutch automatic with seven speeds, always with front-wheel drive.

Performance combines with efficiency: according to Inmetro, the SUV achieves 10 km/l in the city and 12.5 km/l on the highway. The tank has a capacity of 51 liters, allowing for good autonomy for long trips. The independent suspension on all four wheels (McPherson in the front and multilink in the rear) contributes to greater stability and comfort.
Design and Interior Space
Visually, the Tiggo 8 PRO 2026 adopts a modern and eye-catching design. The model features full LED headlights with projector beams, sequential turn signals, diamond-shaped grille, and integrated LED taillights on the trunk lid. The wheels are 19 inches, fitted with Pirelli Scorpion 235/50 tires.
The trunk has a capacity of 650 liters with five seats in use and 150 liters with all seven seats occupied. The interior space is enhanced by leather trim, soft-touch surfaces, and electric and ventilated front seats for the driver and passenger.
Technology and Safety
The interior of the Tiggo 8 PRO 2026 is highlighted by a full digital dashboard and a 24.6-inch multimedia center, compatible with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. The SUV also offers a premium Sony sound system, a 50W wireless phone charger, and an electric panoramic sunroof.
In terms of safety, it features six airbags, a 360º camera, blind spot warning, autonomous emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control (ACC). The package positions the model in a technological tier above more expensive direct rivals.
Comparison with Competitors
Even priced at R$ 201 thousand, the Tiggo 8 PRO 2026 offers features typically seen in SUVs above R$ 250 thousand. Models such as the Jeep Commander and the Toyota Corolla Cross provide equivalent versions in space, but without the same list of standard equipment.
With this strategy, Caoa Chery seeks to consolidate its image as a manufacturer that offers more technology for less, expanding its share in the medium and large SUV segment.
And you, do you think the Tiggo 8 PRO 2026 can actually outshine traditional rivals like the Commander and the Corolla Cross? Or does trust in the brand still weigh when making a purchase? Leave your opinion in the comments — we want to hear from those closely following the SUV market.

Tenho Tiggo mas a Caoa nunca tem nenhuma peça em estoque, motivo que a fez perder concessões de marcas importantes como Renault, Hyundai…..Falta tudo, o básico, nunca tem.
