The Works
Always aiming at market expansion, SCGás has a project already underway in the Serra Catarinense. The project started in 2012 with the installation of a network starting in Indaial and going to Lages, passing through 16 municipalities.
Aiming to serve new customers, industries, and CNG stations along BR-470, the gas pipeline reached the city of Rio do Sul in 2016, and installation works are also underway in the cities of Trombudo Central and Pouso Redondo.
The loan obtained by the company will also finance the project for new natural gas networks in the northern plateau, with the relocation of the network on the BR-470 and BR-280 highways, which are in the duplication phase.
SCGás has until April 2021 to repay the financing, and the amortization period is six years, ending in April 2027.
