In 2025, Omoda & Jaecoo Expanded Markets, Set Sales Records, Advanced in Electrification, and Reinforced Its Technological Strategy for 2026
Since the beginning of its international operations, OMODA & JAECOO has maintained accelerated and consistent growth. In 2025, the brand expanded its presence to 64 markets, up from 44 previously. Furthermore, in just over 30 months, global sales surpassed 800,000 vehicles, according to consolidated data from the company and its parent, Chery Group. Thus, the operation became the main vector for the group’s international growth.
Meanwhile, Europe established itself as the largest sales engine, with over 200,000 units accumulated in 2025. In the United Kingdom, monthly sales exceeded 10,000 vehicles, rapidly reaching this level. At the same time, Spain, Poland, and Italy recorded significant advances. Therefore, local adaptability, combined with strategic partnerships, reinforced the European role in the global strategy.
Additionally, the Southeast Asian region maintained a solid pace, particularly in Thailand. In November 2025, the brand simultaneously led in sales and registrations of 100% electric vehicles, with 2,498 units. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, the Jaecoo 5 EV exceeded 10,000 orders in the first month after launch. Consequently, regional penetration was significantly expanded.

Subsequently, Latin America reported impressive results. In Brazil, monthly sales surpassed 1,600 units in 2025, representing 45% growth. Moreover, the Jaecoo 7 SHS received the award for “2025 Intermediate Hybrid Car”. In Chile, Omoda O5 and Jaecoo 5 were named “Most Recommended Vehicle of the Year”, according to Autocosmos evaluation. Thus, the regional performance boosted global numbers.
As a result, Omoda & Jaecoo recorded successive records throughout 2025. This progress was primarily due to continuous investment in new energy technologies and the strategy of global branding with local operations. Consequently, the company expanded its international scale and deepened its regional presence, maintaining growth above the automotive industry average.
New Energy Vehicles Drive Growth in 2025
In this context, new energy vehicles (NEVs) became the main engine of expansion. In 2025, annual sales exceeded 200,000 units, a fivefold increase from the previous year. Thus, NEVs came to represent more than half of global sales, consolidating the brand’s technological transition.
This performance was mainly due to the evolution of SHS Technology – Super Hybrid System. The platform includes SHS-P (plug-in hybrid) and SHS-H (hybrid). Additionally, it relies on Super Performance, Super Range, Super Efficiency, and Super Safety System. In this way, it redefines global standards for hybrid systems.
The architecture integrates a high-efficiency engine, DHT hybrid transmission, and high-performance batteries. Thus, electric traction serves as the main power source, while the combustion engine operates in a complementary manner. As a result, driving becomes smooth at low speeds and stable under high loads, balancing performance and energy efficiency.
Finally, in 2025, Omoda & Jaecoo solidified sales, product strength, and brand value, positioning itself among the fastest-growing automakers in the world. Therefore, looking toward 2026, the strategy remains focused on Europe, global expansion, and connecting with the younger audience, supported by innovation, electrification, and consistent international presence.
