Agropeu S/A Opens Selection Process for Safety Technicians to Work at Refinery in Minas Gerais, Applications Open Until 08/16.

The company Agropeu S/A, producer of ethanol, sugar, and biomass energy, is recruiting Safety Technicians qualified to work at the refinery in the city of Pompéu/MG. Professionals must have up-to-date certifications and experience in risk and accident analysis. Candidates can submit their resumes until the deadline of 08/16.

Producer of ethanol, sugar, and biomass-derived products (sugarcane), the company has operated in the city of Pompéu/MG for over 30 years. Currently, in addition to production, the company generates electricity for its own plant from biomass, using bagasse from sugarcane as raw material. About the Position: Occupational Safety Technician

Main Activities:
Conduct visits to industrial and automotive areas, inspecting items related to NR 06, NR 09, NR 11, NR 12, NR 13, NR 15, NR 16, NR 20, NR 23, NR-26, NR 33, and NR 35, generating non-conformance reports. Deliver safety dialogues and other training and lectures focused on accident prevention. Conduct tests for new PPEs, perform breathalyzer tests, investigate accidents, document field actions, and prepare presentations. Participate in Internal Accident Prevention Committees, schedule regulatory training, among other tasks.

Requested Requirements:
Have completed training as an Occupational Safety Technician, possess experience in the role in industrial or similar areas, a valid Category B driver’s license, knowledge of the Office Suite, knowledge of NR 06, NR 09, NR 11, NR 12, NR 13, NR 15, NR 16, NR 20, NR 23, NR-26, NR 33, and NR 35, and experience with accident analysis and investigation.

The candidate must be willing to live in Pompéu/MG.
