The decision reflects the annual tariff review approved by ANTT, which adjusted the amounts charged at the toll plazas along BR-163, one of the main agricultural routes in the state.

The concessionaire in charge announced an average reduction of 4.86% for every 100 kilometers traveled, which translates to a decrease of about R$ 0.30 to R$ 0.40 at the toll booths, varying by plaza.

According to ANTT, the tariff reduction is linked to a timeline adjustment for the resumption of the duplication works on BR-163, a measure aimed at alleviating the financial impact on drivers until the highway’s infrastructure is improved.

The reduced cost has been positively received by drivers, who will now pay between R$ 5 and R$ 9, depending on the toll point they pass through.

Visitem ou trafeguem pela BR 153 Na região de lins, getulina até Marilia….pedágio caro C$ 9.40 a rodovia completamente chia de buracos, vários caros com peneu estorado, ontem um carro perdeu o controle e saiu na contra mão e bateu nas grades de contenção. Lamentável ter que pagar e não poder dirigir com segurança. Por favor intercedam por nós!
