In Addition to Supporting Society through a Series of Volunteer Actions, Petrobras Has a Social Initiative for Access to Cooking Gas That Will Allocate Over R$ 270 Million in 2022
Petrobras reported, in a material fact to the market, that through its social responsibility area, and in partnership with civil society organizations, allocated R$ 4 million to support the population affected by the floods that hit the Northeast region of the country. The partnership with Movimento UniãoBR, which has the financial management of the Instituto da Criança, will enable the donation of essential items to the affected families.
“Petrobras, once again, supports and shows its solidarity with the families who suffered from the floods. We aim to make donations and provide humanitarian support. It was like this in Petrópolis (RJ), in the states of Bahia and Minas Gerais, earlier this year, and now we are also supporting our brothers and sisters in Pernambuco. The social responsibility area has been proactive in providential support to those in greatest need. All these actions support communities that somehow are part of the daily activities of Petrobras.”, says the executive manager of Social Responsibility, Rafaela Guedes.
