Petrobras signs air support contract
Petrobras hires Líder

Lider Aviação will provide air support for Petrobras in operations in the Campos, Santos and Espírito Santo Basins

Líder, a company well known in aviation for providing services to Petrobras, has just announced the signing of yet another contract with the Brazilian state-owned company.
The new contract includes logistical air support in the Campos, Santos and Espírito Santo basins and proves the sign of resumption of offshore activities not only by Petrobras, but by foreign oil companies.

According to the commercial director of Oil and Gas at Líder Aviação, Diego Reis, “This is an operation with eight large and medium-sized aircraft, the Sikorsky helicopters models S-92A and S76C++, which will be used in air support for the offshore platforms”.
The company's attention is focused on resuming pre-salt exploration activities, mainly because it envisions a future of great business opportunities with Petrobras and other oil companies.

Company

Líder Aviação, the largest executive aviation company in Latin America, has been operating in the offshore market for 40 years, many of them under Petrobras contracts.
The company has flown over 8 million hours and has five business units, one of which operates more than 35 helicopters for the oil and gas industry.

A Leader Aviation provides support to offshore operations at bases located in Jacarepaguá, Macaé and Campos (RJ), Vitória (ES), Salvador (BA), Aracajú (SE), Guamaré (RN) and Paracurú (CE).
In addition to operating on the Offshore, the company also operates on the Brazilian Onshore, where it has a base in Carauari (AM).

With a presence in more than 20 operational bases in the main Brazilian airports, Líder Aviação operates in five business units: helicopter operations for the oil and gas industry, aircraft charter and management; aircraft sales; airport maintenance and service. The company has 1.000 employees and a fleet of more than 60 aircraft.
