SS Norbe VI Ocyan Left The Enseada Shipyard On The Morning Of The 6th, It Was Docked At The Terminal For Maintenance And Will Complete Its Preparation In The State Of Rio De Janeiro

The Ocyan rig, the SS Norbe VI, left the Enseada Shipyard, in Bahia or more specifically in the city of Maragogipe, on the 6th to head towards Rio de Janeiro for its final preparations in order to fulfill its service contract for Petrobras. View here the video and the article about when the unit arrived at the shipyard.

“The Ocyan rig, SS Norbe VI Ocyan, leaves the shipyard. At 5:00 am, the SS Norbe VI platform untied and left the Enseada shipyard, starting its navigation towards Rio de Janeiro where it will finish its preparations to begin the contract with Petrobras. We wish much success to the SS Norbe VI and to the entire Ocyan team.” Exclaimed the representatives of the shipyard on a social network.

This would theoretically explain the reason why Ocyan has ramped up its hiring since July. One of these hiring processes can be checked by clicking here. There are openings for Welders, Technicians, Supervisors, Inspectors, Assistants, and Engineers requested for Rio de Janeiro and Macaé.

Enseada Shipyard Gains Another Maintenance Contract

There is no doubt that one of the big names at the moment in the Brazilian naval industry is Enseada; it was awarded one contract but ended up securing another shortly after. As you probably have followed on our portal, it signed with Prosafe to carry out maintenance on the Flotel Safe Concordia for 6 months.
