The City Hall of Cataguases Launches Public Contest Offering Multiple Vacancies in Various Areas, with Salaries That Can Reach R$ 15 Thousand for Selected Candidates.

The City Hall of Cataguases, located in the state of Minas Gerais, in partnership with the Access Institute, has announced a Public Contest for filling 85 vacancies at various education levels, covering professionals from elementary, secondary, technical, and higher education.

Within this total of vacancies in the public contest, there are specific opportunities for candidates who meet the criteria established in the announcement. Selected professionals must comply with work shifts ranging from six to 30 hours per week, with monthly salaries between R$ 1,320 and R$ 15,437.52.

Registrations for the City Hall of Cataguases contest can be made starting at 8 AM on December 26, 2023, and can be completed until 11:59 PM on February 5, 2024, exclusively through the Access Institute’s website.

The registration is contingent on the payment of the corresponding fee, which ranges from R$ 60 to R$ 100. It is important to highlight that there is a possibility to request a fee exemption from December 26 to 28, 2023.

The selection process for candidates of the public contest will be conducted through objective testing, scheduled to take place on March 10, 2024, with an estimated duration of three to four hours. The tests will include questions on Portuguese Language, Logical and Mathematical Reasoning, Guidelines of Public Administration, and General and Specific Knowledge.

It is worth mentioning that for the positions of Heavy Vehicle Driver, Machine Operator, and Bricklayer, there will also be a practical test as part of the selection process. Candidates for the lawyer position will be subjected to a written test. Additionally, there will be a title evaluation for higher-level positions.

The contest, according to what is established in the announcement, will be valid for two years from the final approval of the results, with the possibility of extension for an equal period.

The Federal Constitution requires prior approval in a public contest for entering into a public office or job. Thus, municipalities are obliged to fill their staff with competitive examination personnel.
