Historic Announcement: Launch of the Public Competition Announcement in Education at the City Hall of Teresina

According to SEMEC, this Wednesday (07), the City Hall of Teresina, through the Municipal Secretary of Education (Semec), will achieve a historic milestone for municipal education. At 10:30 a.m., at the City Palace, the long-awaited announcement of the Public Competition aimed at filling positions for the teaching and administrative areas of the agency will be launched. This initiative represents not only an opportunity for education professionals but also a solid commitment to the quality of education in the city.

Broad Job Offer: Details of Available Positions in the Public Competition

Based on Municipal Law No. 5,981, the City Hall of Teresina and the City Council have established the opening of 997 vacancies for effective positions in the Municipal Education Network of Teresina. These opportunities from the announcement released by the city hall encompass a variety of areas, including 611 vacancies for teachers, distributed among different cycles and specialties, in addition to technical administrative positions at both higher and intermediate levels, totaling one of the largest job offers in the educational field of the city.

Strategic Partnerships: Institutions Responsible for Organizing the Public Competition

The State University Foundation of Piauí (Fuespi) and the National Institute of Educational, Cultural and Assistential Development (IDECAN) will play fundamental roles in the execution of the competition released by the announcement.

While Fuespi will be responsible for the preparation and administration of the exam for effective educators and psychopedagogues, IDECAN will assume responsibility for testing candidates in the technical administrative area and for teachers of different cycles of Elementary Education.
