The registrations for the highly anticipated contest of the São João de Meriti City Hall RJ have been reopened, offering a second chance for those interested in competing for 443 positions. The deadline has been extended until November 28, providing an additional window for those seeking opportunities in the public sector. This decision comes in response to a request from the public contest committee of the São João de Meriti City Hall, according to the Folha Concursos website.

Candidates have until November 28 to fill out the form on the website of the National Evaluation Institute (link below), the organizer of the City Hall contest. Additionally, it is necessary to make the payment of the registration fee, which varies from R$ 70 for positions at the middle and middle/technical levels to R$ 115 for higher education positions. The payment deadline extends until November 29, offering an additional period to ensure participation.

High Demand and Variety of Positions in the City Hall Contest

The demand for these positions became evident with over 32,000 registration requests already recorded, according to preliminary data reported to Folha Dirigida by Qconcursos. The contest covers opportunities for different levels of education and specializations, with remuneration ranging from R$ 1,320 to R$ 3,636, in addition to bonuses corresponding to the national minimum wage.

Details of Positions and Salaries Offered by the City Hall

At the middle level, the City Hall contest offers 300 positions for the role of community health agent, with an initial salary of R$ 2,400. For nursing technicians and dental health technicians, both requiring a middle school education and technical course in the area, there are 50 and 10 positions, respectively, with remuneration of R$ 1,320.

At the higher education level, there are various options, with 83 positions distributed among the roles of accountant, nurse, medical doctor, and dentist. Salaries range from R$ 1,320 to R$ 3,636, with work shifts of 20, 30, or 40 hours per week, depending on the role.

Exams and Assessments of the New City Hall Contest

Candidates will face objective exams in January 2024, with specific data for each position. Topics such as Portuguese Language, Municipal Legislation, Public Health (except for accountants), and Specific Knowledge will be covered in the 50 proposed questions. Additionally, there will be a stage for evaluation of titles for higher level positions, which is for classification purposes.
