Prices Yet to Be Confirmed
The automaker has not announced the price yet, but in the European market, the company’s electric car, which offers great range, costs about €32,000 (R$ 221,000).
When the automaker first mentioned the arrival of the 500e in Brazil at the beginning of last year, the estimated price was R$ 200,000. However, the external scenario has become more turbulent and the dollar has risen, so we can expect a higher price range.
Fiat’s Electric Car Will Have New Technologies
In addition to great range, the new model features a kind of automatic door handle that is activated by an internal button, responsible for unlocking the door. Inside, the 5th generation UConnect infotainment system will be controlled by a 10.25” screen and will be able to connect to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay via Bluetooth.
The vehicle’s motor delivers 118 horsepower, 22.4 kgfm of torque, and its battery is 42 kWh, which guarantees a range of up to 320 km. According to the automaker, the 500e can recharge 80% in up to 35 minutes and 100% in just over 4 hours.
For those making short daily trips, in 5 minutes the electric car can charge enough for a range of 50 km. To go from 0 to 100 km/h, the new Fiat 500 takes 9 seconds and can reach a top speed of 150 km/h.
