Coca-Cola and Heineken Make Agreement and Competition with Ambev Is Set to Intensify Among Beverage Giants
Coca-Cola announced an agreement with Heineken to reshape its distribution network in Brazil, putting the multinational Ambev, the largest beverage company in the world, in a tight spot.
The agreement between the Heineken Group and the Coca-Cola distribution system in Brazil, announced on Wednesday, 24, ends a stalemate that has persisted since the acquisition of Brasil Kirin by the Dutch brewery in 2017.
The partnership between the giants Heineken and Coca-Cola will begin in the middle of this year and will be valid until 2026, with the possibility of extension for another five years.
According to analysts, the agreement means more competition among the giants Ambev, Coca-Cola, and Heineken.
