Gerdau, a multinational steel producer and supplier, is offering job openings for internships in administration and logistics, technician, refinement operator, steel mill operator, warehouse operator, lawyer and more. Candidates with completed high school, technical courses, and university students are being recruited. For some positions, no experience in the field is required.

Steel Mill Operator

Prerequisite:

Technical course in Metallurgy.

Some of the main responsibilities:

Operate the oxy-fuel cutting panel, roller path and billet cooling bed;
Cut samples for macrograph analysis;
Operate a manual torch.

Safety Technician

Requirements:

Completed High School;
Technical course in Occupational Safety;
Knowledge of legal standards and regulations;
Experience in the Industrial sector as a Safety Technician.

Some of the main activities of the position:

Monitoring maintenance, operation, and new engineering projects;
Control and management of documentation;
Inspecting company sites, facilities, and equipment to identify accident risk factors, proposing solutions;
Conducting accident investigations and analysis;
Enforcing and monitoring safety in the work fronts mobilized at the plant.

Logistics University Intern

Prerequisites:

Currently pursuing up to the 5th semester of Production Engineering, Administration or Logistics;
Knowledge of Power BI and advanced Excel.

Main responsibilities:

Enhance technical and theoretical knowledge to prepare new professionals capable of proposing simple and agile solutions collaboratively, to meet the challenges of an increasingly dynamic business environment.
