Samarco Miner Co. Predicts Resumption and About 7,200 Job Openings Will Be Created in Third-Party Companies and in Companies That Supply the Sector
Samarco Miner Co. resumed partial operations at the end of 2020, with about 26% of its production. Currently, the company announced that it will bring forward its full return to 2029 in Ubu and Anchieta, Espírito Santo, and the estimate is that at least 7,200 job openings will be created with the return, in addition to assisting in the economic recovery of the state. Job openings in third-party companies and in companies that supply the sector will already be available this year.

According to Tribuna Online, Samarco Miner Co. signed a cooperation agreement with Vale to optimize its production. This cooperation involves agreements for the purchase and sale of minerals, land exchanges, and more.
The resumption of Samarco Miner Co. is expected to create thousands of job opportunities in Espírito Santo, with around 700 jobs directly within the company, 500 jobs in third-party companies, and 6,000 jobs in companies related to the production chain. Samarco will require engineers, technicians, bricklayers, mechanics, electricians, among others. Salaries will range from R$ 1,500 to R$ 20,000. Additionally, Samarco will provide qualification courses through Senai.
