A total of 200 spots are available, organized into classes of up to 25 participants, depending on the course and location offered.
In-Person Courses Focus on Innovation, Applications, and Emerging Technologies
Structured as Initial and Continuing Education (FIC), the courses prioritize practical content aligned with the current demands of the job market.
The main objective is to develop technological and entrepreneurial skills associated with digital transformation and innovation environments.
Among the offered options, the course on innovative businesses supported by artificial intelligence stands out, aimed at the strategic use of AI in creating and enhancing projects.
Another area focuses on drones and 3D printers, addressing both the operation and maintenance of equipment, in addition to guidelines for safe usage.
The App Clicks course works on rapid application development for digital media, using tools that do not require prior programming knowledge.
Despite the thematic differences, all classes share the same pedagogical guideline.
Throughout the training, students develop a final project in fixed teams, bringing learning closer to real situations faced in the market and in regional contexts.
Distribution of Spots at the Campuses and Poles of Southern Minas
The opportunities are distributed among the campuses of Inconfidentes, Passos, and Três Corações.
At the Muzambinho campus, in addition to regular classes, there are openings at poles located in Cabo Verde and São Sebastião do Paraíso.
In each location, classes have 25 spots, organized between open competition and specific reservation.
As stated in the notice, 30% of the spots are exclusively reserved for women, as a way to encourage female participation in technology and innovation fields.
When this percentage is not fully filled, the remaining spots will then be occupied by the general public.
Requirements to Participate and Selection Criteria
Young people and adults aged between 15 and 45 years may apply, provided they have at least completed elementary education.
The spots are available for both Federal Network students and external community members interested in professional qualification.
The selection occurs in two stages and does not include a written test.
Initially, the documentation submitted is analyzed to verify compliance with the requirements.
If the number of applicants exceeds the total number of spots available for each course and location, the notice provides for an electronic draw, creating a reserve list.
The document also states that registration in more than one course simultaneously is not allowed in this selection process.
Monthly Stipend of R$ 200 and Payment Rules
Selected and regularly enrolled students are entitled to a monthly stipend of R$ 200, characterized as a non-remunerative cost assistance.
This payment does not create an employment relationship with the Federal Institute of Southern Minas Gerais.
To maintain the benefit, it is mandatory to comply with the rules set forth in the notice, especially regarding minimum attendance in in-person classes.
The amount may be paid proportionally to attendance, with the possibility of deduction, suspension, or cancellation in case of absences, withdrawal, or failure to meet requirements.
After the final result is announced, selected candidates must provide personal and banking details, necessary to facilitate the monthly transfer of the stipend.
