Enrollment is open for an online and free course, which grants scholarships of R$ 2,000 to its 100 best students.
Creative Writing Course: Enrollment Open
The course, titled Territories of Writing, offers 1,000 spots and is completely free. Enrollment is open until November 30, 2024. Classes start on January 15, 2025 and will be taught by renowned teachers and writers, providing a comprehensive and quality education.
Diversity and Inclusion
The course allocates 25% of the spots to black individuals, 10% to indigenous individuals, and 5% to people with disabilities (PWD), reinforcing its commitment to inclusion and cultural diversity. Structure and Certification
There will be 50 classes, each with 20 students, supported by dedicated monitors. Upon completion of the course, participants who meet all requirements will receive a certificate of extension issued by the MinC and by UFRGS.
Selection Process and Scholarships
The selection of candidates will be based on the analysis of a questionnaire and submitted documents, with those achieving a minimum score of 7 on a scale from 0 to 10 being approved. During the course, texts will be evaluated by monitors and specialists. The 100 best students will receive a monthly scholarship of R$ 2,000, from August 2025 to January 2026, to support the completion of their literary works.
Learning Tracks
The course covers seven learning tracks: chronicle, short story, playwriting, children’s literature, youth literature, long narrative, and poetry. Each track is taught by specialists, such as Professor Claudia Caimi in chronicle and Professor Gustavo Rückert in poetry.
