Payment Of The Bonus Of The Pé-de-Meia Linked To Enem 2025 Allows Recovery Of The Registration Fee, Guarantees Up To R$ 1,200 In 2026 And Follows The Official Calendar Of The MEC, The Inep And The Caixa Econômica Federal
A significant financial incentive has recently gained prominence among public high school students across Brazil. The bonus of the Pé-de-Meia program linked to Enem 2025 allows for the recovery of R$ 85 paid for registration and, at the same time, guarantees a total transfer of up to R$ 1,200, according to already defined official rules.
Initially, the payment of the benefit is scheduled to occur between February 24 and March 3, 2026. During this period, the amounts will be deposited directly into the digital account of Caixa Econômica Federal, with access exclusively through the Caixa Tem app, according to a staggered schedule.
According to information from the Ministry of Education, the total amount of the bonus consists of two distinct installments. R$ 1,000 corresponds to the financial incentive for completing high school in 2025. Additionally, R$ 200 additional is allocated to students who attended both days of Enem 2025, officially administered on November 9 and 16, 2025.

In this context, even students who did not apply for the exemption from the registration fee within the deadline end up being benefited. Thus, despite the payment of R$ 85, the total amount received results in a net balance of R$ 1,115, reinforcing the compensatory nature of the program.
Enem Exemption Is Not Automatic And Requires Application
Despite being linked to the Pé-de-Meia program, the exemption from the Enem fee does not occur automatically. The student must request the benefit on the Participant Page within the deadline defined by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep).
If the request is not made within the correct period, the fee remains valid. Nonetheless, subsequently, the financial transfer from the Pé-de-Meia compensates for the amount paid, according to current rules of the educational program.
Who Can Receive The Pé-de-Meia Bonus
Eligible for the bonus are students who completed high school in 2025 and who were regularly enrolled in the Pé-de-Meia program. Additionally, attendance on both days of Enem 2025 is an indispensable requirement for receiving the additional installment of R$ 200.
In this process, participation confirmation occurs automatically. The Inep records the candidates’ attendance during the application of the tests and, subsequently, shares the data with the Ministry of Education, responsible for authorizing the release of payments.
Thus, it is not necessary to present additional proof, as long as the student attended the official dates of the national exam.
Payment Calendar And Program Rules
Bonus deposits will occur between February 24 and March 3, 2026, with dates defined according to the birth month of the beneficiary. This organization was adopted to avoid overload on the systems of Caixa Econômica Federal.
However, absence on any of the days of Enem 2025 results in the automatic loss of the R$ 200 bonus. Even so, the other installments of the Pé-de-Meia program remain assured, provided that the general criteria are met.
In addition, the program requires maintaining a minimum attendance of 80% in monthly classes. If this percentage is not reached, other financial incentives may be suspended, according to the norms of the Ministry of Education.
Educational Incentive And School Retention
The Pé-de-Meia bonus associated with Enem is part of the strategy of the Ministry of Education to encourage school retention and the completion of high school. By linking attendance, participation in the exam, and completion, the program seeks to reduce school dropout rates and expand educational opportunities.
