New Programming and Robotics Course from Sesi: Educational Institution Opens Free Courses Without Needing to Take an Exam. Stay Updated on What is Necessary to Participate!
The Sesi School of Itu announced the opening of a free programming and robotics course, targeting youth aged 8 to 15 who are not part of the Sesi-SP Education Network. Module 2 of the free programming courses is exclusive to students who have already completed and been certified in Module 1.
Everything About the Programming and Robotics Course
The slots for the free courses are limited, with classes for children aged 8 to 11 and teenagers aged 12 to 15. In the first module, for the practical activity development, students will learn to use a block-based programming editor (Microsoft MakeCode software) and create projects on the Micro:bit processing board.
Students in the programming and robotics course will also receive educational material developed by the Micro:bit Foundation and adapted by Sesi São Paulo.

Module 2 consists of a set of educational strategies, focusing on students, aimed at deepening the knowledge acquired in Module 1 with Micro:Bit and developing new competencies and skills through educational robotics, using other educational resources, including Eletroblocks. How to Register for Free Courses at Sesi?
Slots in the programming and robotics course are limited and divided into specific classes for different age groups: 8 to 11 years old and 12 to 15 years old. Registrations can be made online, via the Sesi Itu website, or in person at the School Secretary’s office, located at Rua José Bruni, 201, in the São Luiz neighborhood.
For the free courses, it is necessary for parents or guardians to register, which will remain open until December 5 for Module 1 and until November 17 for some classes of Module 2. The programming and robotics course is divided into weekly groups.
In Module 1, there are classes for Kids and Teens, with lessons on Fridays. Classes for Module 2 are offered on more days of the week, with options for morning and afternoon, allowing students to advance in the learning of programming and robotics.
