The Liceu de Artes e Ofícios de São Paulo has opened applications for the selection process of its free technical courses, integrated with High School education. The opportunity offers 60 spots in the Industrial Automation course, focusing on construction technologies, and 30 spots in the Construction course, which emphasizes sustainable projects and management.

Those interested in the technical courses must meet a specific socioeconomic profile, with family income ranging from one and a half minimum wages to three federal minimum wages. In addition to the free course, approved students will receive benefits such as meals, uniforms, school supplies, and, for those who do not have a free pass, a transportation allowance.

Details of the Selection Process

Those interested in the technical courses have until October 31, 2024 to apply. The application fee is R$ 70.00, and the objective test is scheduled for November 24, 2024, a Sunday, from 2 PM to 5 PM. The test locations will be announced on the websites www.vunesp.com.br and www.liceuescola.com.br. The final result will be published on December 18, 2024, on those same portals.

Applications for the technical courses are made exclusively through the website www.liceuescola.com.br. The Vunesp, the foundation responsible for UNESP’s entrance examination, is in charge of organizing the selection process for 2025. With a duration of three years, the courses prepare students to act professionally at a technical level while encouraging the continuation of studies in Higher Education. Classes are offered in a semi-integrated format.

The selection process consists of three phases: an objective test, socioeconomic profile analysis of the family, and a home visit. The first two stages are eliminatory, while the last serves to verify the information provided. The socioeconomic profile is evaluated based on social and economic aspects.
