According to the public notice, the total number of spots for 2025 is 175 in the Environmental Education and Geography of the Semiarid Region course, covering broad competition, people with disabilities, and self-declared black, brown, indigenous, or quilombola individuals.

The support poles are located in the cities of Canguaretama, Grossos, Lajes, Luís Gomes, and Parelhas, as well as the capital, Natal. Here are the details on how the spots are distributed:

According to the public notice, the specialization will be conducted in a hybrid format, with a total workload of 400 hours, distributed across five modules. Some in-person meetings will take place at the support poles, but most of the content will be delivered online.

How to Enroll in the Free Specialization

Applications will be open from October 2, 2024, starting at 2 PM, until October 30, 2024, at 11:59 PM. To participate, you must have completed a degree at an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC).

In addition, candidates must carefully read the public notice, available on the official website of the IFRN selection process: processoseletivo.ifrn.edu.br.

According to IFRN, interested parties can also request a waiver of the application fee between October 2 and 13, 2024.
