If you have completed high school and are looking for professional qualification, this news is for you! The Federal Institute is now accepting applications for the Selection Process for Subsequent Technical Courses, offering 570 free spots in various fields. Applications, which opened on Monday (7), will be accepted until November 10, and everything can be done easily and quickly online. And the best part: the courses are completely free!
Among the courses offered, there are options for those who wish to enter high-demand fields, such as Administration, Mechanics, Electrotechnics, Agriculture, and even Brewery (yes, that’s right!). In addition, there are spots for both distance and in-person courses, all set to begin in the first semester of 2025.

How to Enroll and Secure Your Spot
The enrollment process is super simple and free. Just access the Candidate Portal of the Federal Institute (IFC) and fill in your information. But be careful, to enroll, you need to have an account on the Gov.BR platform from the Federal Government. If you don’t have one yet, you can easily create it, and the institute’s website offers a video tutorial to guide you through the process. It is important to carefully read the edit 62/2024 to understand all the details of the selection process, such as the schedule, quota policies, and enrollment procedures.

What Are the Offered Technical Courses?
The Federal Institute is offering ten options of free technical courses, all aimed at those who have completed high school. The areas of study include:

· Industrial Automation
· Electrotechnics
· Work Safety
· Mechanics
· Buildings
· And even a technical course in Brewery (that’s right, you read that correctly!)
Classes will take place in the first semester of 2025, and the courses are distributed across nine cities: Araquari, Blumenau, Brusque, Camboriú, Fraiburgo, Luzerna, Rio do Sul, São Francisco do Sul, and Videira. Additionally, there are spots for both in-person education and the Civil Defense (EaD) course, offered in distance learning mode.
Quota Policy and Affirmative Actions
For those who qualify under affirmative action policies, the selection process also brings good news. The Federal Institute reserves specific spots for students who fall under quota regulations, observing specific legislations, such as the Affirmative Action Policy. And if you are considering taking Agriculture at the Rio do Sul Campus, there is a special quota for those coming from Family Farming.
