The Federal Revenue Service is offering 71 vacancies for experts at Viracopos Airport. Candidates must have a college degree and experience. Applications will be accepted starting in January 2025. This is the chance for specialized professionals to showcase their expertise and work in strategic customs operations in foreign trade.

In Brazil, where customs efficiency plays a crucial role in international trade and tax collection, the Federal Revenue Service announces an unmissable opportunity.

This is the opening of a selection process for the accreditation of 71 specialized experts at Viracopos International Airport, in Campinas, São Paulo.

The notice, recently published in the Official Gazette of the Union, promises to attract qualified professionals from different areas.

Exclusive opportunity for higher education professionals

The selection process is aimed at candidates with higher education, proven experience and interest in working as experts at Viracopos Customs.

According to the Federal Revenue Service, the accreditation covers a wide range of specialties, reflecting the diversity of customs operations at the airport.

Mandatory requirements and desired profile

According to the notice, interested parties must have higher education in specific areas and prove at least two years of professional experience in the chosen area.

The IRS is looking for candidates capable of carrying out detailed analyses, issuing technical opinions and contributing significantly to the efficiency of customs operations.

Among the specialties covered, the following stand out:

  • Engineering (Agronomy, Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautics, Biomedical, Food and Textile);
  • Health Sciences (Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine);
  • Exact and Earth Sciences (Chemistry and Geology);
  • Gemology and Museology.

This diversity of areas demonstrates the complexity of the functions performed by experts and the importance of their work in ensuring safety and legal compliance.

How to register

Applications will be accepted between January 6 and 12, 2025, and interested parties must follow a detailed process, as described in the notice. The procedure includes:

  1. Sending email to [experts.sp.alfvcp@rfb.gov.br] requesting the opening of a digital dossier;
  2. Inclusion of personal information in the body of the email, such as full name, CPF and intended area of activity;
  3. Receipt of the digital dossier number, generated by the Federal Revenue Service;
  4. Access the e-CAC portal with digital certification to attach the required documentation.

It is essential that candidates pay attention to deadlines and strictly follow the guidelines to avoid disqualification.

Expert functions: a strategic role

Accredited experts will be responsible for identifying and classifying goods, quantifying assets, issuing expert reports and offering technical support to customs inspection.

These assignments are crucial to ensure compliance with legal standards and financial security in international operations carried out at Viracopos Airport.

Selection criteria and scoring system

The selection process will use a scoring system that values both academic background and professional experience. The criteria include:

  • Experience as an expert accredited by the Federal Revenue Service: up to 4 points (1 point every 2 years);
  • Professional experience in the specific area: up to 4 points (1 point every 2 years);
  • Lato sensu postgraduate studies (minimum 360 hours): 1 point per course;
  • Stricto sensu postgraduate studies: 2 points per course (maximum of 4 points);
  • Specialization courses (minimum 60 hours): 0,5 points per course.

This method ensures a fair and comprehensive assessment, balancing practical experience and academic qualifications.

Remuneration and employment relationship

It is important to highlight that accreditation does not establish an employment relationship with the IRS. The experts will act as independent professionals, being paid for services rendered.

The fees will follow the limits and conditions set forth in Normative Instruction RFB No. 2086, of 2022, and will be paid by the interested party in the process, such as importers, exporters or transporters.

Deadlines and publication of results

The final result will be published on February 5, 2025 on the official website of the Federal Revenue Service. Those approved must confirm their interest, present additional documentation and follow the guidelines to begin their activities.

Validity of accreditation and possibilities of extension

The accreditation will be initially valid for two years, and may be extended for the same period, at the discretion of the Viracopos Customs Delegate.

This structure allows for the constant renewal and qualification of experts, ensuring excellence in the services provided.

Strategic importance of experts in foreign trade

The work of experts is vital to the security and efficiency of international trade. They perform functions that directly impact tax collection, national security and the fluidity of import and export operations.

Preparing for the selection process: essential tips

Given the high level of competition, it is essential that candidates prepare in advance:

  1. Organize diplomas and certificates;
  2. Prove professional experience;
  3. Update your knowledge through specialized courses;
  4. Study customs rules and regulations;
  5. Respect the deadlines and requirements of the notice.

Career prospects for accredited professionals

Accreditation opens doors to professional development, providing opportunities for networking, recognition and continuous learning.

However, it also requires commitment, constant updating and the ability to deal with significant responsibilities.

With this selection process, the Federal Revenue Service seeks to strengthen its team of specialized experts, contributing to a more efficient, safe and competitive customs system.

Are you ready for this opportunity? What did you think of the requirements and compensation?

I believe that everyone who is interested in information about salary remuneration, even if they are self-employed, needs to obtain a minimum estimate so that candidates can have detailed transparency about what their remuneration will be!
Ultimately, seeking the best for your professional life and for the good of your family!
I may be wrong, but we always think about family 🙏🏼
Thank you.
