Among the strategies adopted by the business group are the launch of a proprietary line of vitamins and supplements and entry into the São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Minas Gerais markets
The pharmacy chain Usifarma is expected to end this year with 255 franchised pharmacies in the states of Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, and Mato Grosso do Sul, with revenue exceeding R$ 250 million, an increase of 8.7% over last year’s revenue of R$ 230 million. However, it is continuously working to reach revenue of R$ 300 million in 2024 and grow by 30% compared to the results of 2022.
To achieve these results, the business group aims to increase the number of franchises by 25%, reaching more than 320 pharmacies. This expansion plan also includes the launch of a line of vitamins and supplements by the green belly network. The exclusive brand of supplements, vitamins, and minerals, UsiVit Plus +, entered the pharmaceutical market at the end of 2023 with a portfolio of 15 items in water-soluble vitamins, fat-soluble vitamins, and vitamin and mineral complexes.
The Usifarma Network was founded about 20 years ago in the cities of Caçador, Campos Novos, and Fraiburgo in the Metropolitan Region of Contestado, but for 11 years remained restricted to the microregion. It was nine years ago that the pharmaceutical group created the Usifarma franchise and expanded its boundaries.

New Brand
The UsiVit Plus + line includes everything from the old vitamin C, already traditional in the pharmaceutical market, to complexes with functions for collagen production, increased energy levels, protein synthesis, improved immune system functions, anti-aging functions, and enhanced nutrient absorption. The exclusive line of the network has been envisioned for several years but gained traction with the growth of this market after the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We recognized the need to improve the quality of life for the people around us, and thus we chose to contribute to the creation of the UsiVit Plus + line, offering the possibility of healthy supplementation of crucial nutrients for the proper functioning of male and female organisms, at all ages and in various situations,” explains the managing partner of the Usifarma Network, Alessandro Bianchi.
