Supermarkets in the Northeast Offer More Than a Thousand Temporary Jobs for the End of the Year, Increasing Employment Opportunities in the Region

With the arrival of the end of the year, the Novo Atacarejo supermarket chain is expanding its team to meet the increased demand. A total of 200 positions for store operator will be offered at units in Recife and the Metropolitan Region, in addition to another 50 for the interior and 826 positions for daily workers, both in the capital and in the interior.

The company aims to ensure efficient and prompt service to customers during the holiday season and end-of-year shopping.

For these temporary hires, Novo Atacarejo values the inclusion of people with disabilities (PWDs) and is offering opportunities for candidates aged 50 and older.

How to Participate in the Selection Process?

The selection process for these positions starts this Wednesday, November 6th. Interested candidates can access the recruitment platform of the chain, available at the link https://novoatacarejo.jobs.recrut.ai/job/UGDLZR, to check available positions and apply. Simply search by city and desired occupation and fill in the required information.

Opportunities Beyond Temporary Positions

In addition to temporary positions, Novo Atacarejo also offers jobs for other roles, covering technical, operational, and leadership areas.

These opportunities are available for both stores already in operation and new units that will be opened soon. This allows candidates to choose among options for longer-term contracts, depending on their profile and interests.

Expansion and Job Creation

In five years of operation, Novo Atacarejo has distinguished itself as one of the largest wholesale chains in the Northeast region, with 33 stores distributed across 26 cities in Pernambuco and Paraíba. Currently, the company generates around 8,000 direct jobs and is among the top 20 largest groups in the country, according to the Brazilian Association of Wholesalers (Abaas).

The expansion of the chain is a result of its sustainable and efficient growth, which allowed it to be, in the last year, the company with the highest revenue in the sector, according to data from the Brazilian Supermarket Association (Abras).
