Professionals Will Be Assigned to Drilling and Completion Activities. Pay Attention to the Requirements as It Will Be Directly with Repsol’s HR

Repsol Sinopec has been present in Brazil for over 20 years and was a highlight in the oil auctions in 2017, winning alongside Shell and Petrobras the area around Sapinhoá. With an average production of about 100,000 barrels of oil daily, it is one of the major players investing heavily in exploration assets. It is worth noting that it operates in the two main hydrographic basins: The Campos Basin and the Santos Basin.

Requirements

Do you want to be part of Repsol Sinopec’s energy? If the answer is yes, this is a good chance to be part of its operational contingent. The open position today is for Research and Development Engineers (Temporary). Here are the requirements:

  • You will lead R&D projects executed in Brazil related to the following topics:
  • Plug & Abandonment
  • Decommissioning
  • Offshore Operations
  • Wells (Drilling and Completion)
  • Robotics

Degree in Engineering (oil engineering combined with mechanical or electrical/electronic), minimum of 3 years of experience, advanced English, PhD and Spanish

Desired Experience

Experience or background in at least two of these areas: Offshore Ops, Drilling and Completion, Plug & Abandonment, Decommissioning, and Robotics
Experience in research activities, contracts, and patents
Ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders
Contract negotiation
Preparation of reports for ANP
Good organizational skills
Teamwork and results-oriented
Ability to identify opportunities to implement research results
