The Shark FlexBreeze combines pedestal and table fan in a single device, works with battery or plugged in, and can be used indoors and outdoors.
For decades, the traditional fan has hardly changed. Most models remain plugged into an outlet, limited to a single usage format, and intended only for indoor environments. SharkNinja decided to take a different path by launching the Shark FlexBreeze, a device that can be used both as a pedestal fan and a table fan, and also works wirelessly thanks to its internal rechargeable battery.
The device was developed to meet users who wish to transport the fan between different areas of the house or use it outdoors, such as backyards, balconies, barbecues, beaches, and campsites, without constantly relying on an electrical outlet. According to the manufacturer, the autonomy can reach 24 hours, depending on the selected speed.
A fan that changes format in seconds
The main differential of the FlexBreeze is the quick transformation system. With just one button, the device stops functioning as a pedestal fan and starts operating as a table fan. The process requires no tools and allows the device to be easily transported between different environments.

According to Shark, this proposal eliminates the need to have two separate fans for different uses, concentrating both functions in a single device.
Works plugged in or completely wireless, but the price…
Another highlight is the integrated battery. When connected to electrical power, the FlexBreeze operates continuously while recharging the internal battery. In portable mode, the autonomy can reach up to 24 hours at minimum speed, without oscillation activated.
At higher speeds, the operating time decreases. The manufacturer states that the maximum autonomy was measured in the lowest energy consumption setting.

Airflow reaches up to 20 meters
Despite its portable design, the equipment is engineered to move large volumes of air. According to Shark, the FlexBreeze can project the airflow up to 20 meters away (approximately 70 feet), allowing it to cool open areas such as gardens, balconies, and event spaces.
To customize its operation, the device offers five speeds, two modes that simulate natural breeze, horizontal oscillation of 180 degrees, and vertical tilt of 55 degrees, increasing ventilation coverage.
Can be used both indoors and outdoors
Shark developed the FlexBreeze to withstand different environments. The equipment has a structure resistant to UV rays and water, allowing use in outdoor areas exposed to splashes and light rain.
Even so, the company recommends storing the device in protected locations when not in use for extended periods or in case of heavy rain.
This feature expands the possibilities of use in places where conventional fans are usually not recommended.
Remote control and water mist accessory
In addition to the controls on the device itself, the FlexBreeze comes with a remote control.
In some markets, Shark also offers the InstaCool Misting Attachment, sold separately or included in specific versions.
The device connects to a garden hose and produces a fine water mist in front of the fan, enhancing the cooling sensation in outdoor environments during very hot days.
A single device for different situations
The FlexBreeze’s proposal is to replace multiple devices. Instead of maintaining a desk fan for the office, another pedestal fan for the living room, and a third for outdoor areas, the user can transport the same device between different environments, using it with or without a power cord.
Although it does not replace an air conditioner in cooling capacity, the equipment offers a more flexible solution for air circulation in places where installing a fixed system would be unfeasible or unnecessary.
