Internal Accident Prevention Week
The Internal Work Accident Prevention Week (SIPAT) is scheduled to take place from September 24 to 27, entirely online. This year, the event will address the theme ‘Living Well’, focusing on four crucial areas: healthy eating, mental health, body care, and emotional health. In addition to offering lectures and educational content, employees will have a series of contests that encourage the adoption of healthy habits, such as ‘Living Well Challenge’, ‘Healthy Eating Challenge’, ‘Engagement’, and the contest ‘Best Phrase on the Topic’. Among the prizes for winners are gifts such as a portable speaker, volleyball, wireless earbuds, frescobol kits, and jump ropes.
Mental Health Awareness Campaign
Alongside SIPAT, Oceânica promoted a mental health awareness campaign among its employees. On September 11 and 12, all employees participated in two lectures given by psychologist Isabel Cristina Martins, addressing the topics: ‘Consulting the Psychologist? Me?’ and ‘Suicide: What Does This Have to Do with Me?’.
Commitment to Health and Safety
Fabiana Boquimpani, Director of People and Management at Oceânica, emphasized: ‘Throughout our journey, we are committed to promoting a culture that values the safety and health of all our employees. Conducting campaigns that emphasize the importance of mental and physical health care is essential for us to build an even safer and healthier work environment. These cares are not just an individual responsibility, but a collective value that must be present in our daily lives. In line with our ESG practices, we work daily to prevent accidents and ensure that all our employees feel valued and supported in their overall health.’
