Statkraft Brasil was recognized as a Pro-Ethics Company by the Office of the Comptroller General, the CGU, in partnership with the Ethos Institute.
Moreover, the recognition was obtained right in the company’s first participation in the program. Thus, the company joined the group of organizations highlighted for integrity, compliance, and corporate governance.
According to the CGU, the 2025-2026 edition awarded companies committed to integrity, prevention, and combating corruption. The ceremony took place on July 1, 2026, in Brasília.

Recognition values integrity program
Therefore, the achievement highlights the maturity of Statkraft Brasil’s internal practices. Among them are mechanisms for prevention, detection, and correction of risks related to corruption and fraud.
In addition, the evaluation considers criteria such as:
- corporate governance;
- risk management;
- reporting channels;
- internal training;
- corporate communication;
- internal policies;
- anti-corruption controls.
According to the CGU, the Pro-Ethics seeks to voluntarily encourage integrity measures in the business sector. The program recognizes companies committed to the prevention, detection, and remediation of acts of corruption and fraud.

Top leadership highlights ethical culture
According to Thiago Tomazzoli, president of Statkraft in Brazil, receiving the recognition in the first participation is a source of pride for the company.
Additionally, he stated that the result reflects ongoing work. He also highlighted the engagement of different areas to maintain integrity in decisions, professional relationships, and business.
Panel addressed integrity in practice
Also during the Corporate Integrity Day in Brasília, Fernanda Santos Schramm, Compliance Officer at Statkraft, participated in the panel “Integrity in Practice”.
On the occasion, representatives from four companies shared experiences, cases, and actions aimed at strengthening the ethical culture in the corporate environment.
According to Fernanda, integrity is not limited to rule compliance. On the contrary, it also helps build trust and lasting relationships with the audiences connected to the operation.
Statkraft operates with renewable energy in Brazil
Statkraft is an international leader in hydroelectric power and the largest generator of renewable energy in Europe.
Additionally, the group develops and operates hydroelectric, wind, solar, and gas generation assets. The company also operates in global energy markets.
Currently, Statkraft is present in 20 countries and employs about 6,200 people.
In Brazil, its portfolio includes 2.3 GW of installed capacity in renewable assets, among operational ventures and projects under construction.
