The SM AirSeT technology was developed to replace SF6 gas, widely used in electrical distribution equipment, with a combination of pure air for insulation and vacuum arc interruption technology. Among the key features of SM AirSeT, the following stand out: – Pure air insulation: the system uses air, a natural and abundant gas, for insulation, eliminating the need for alternative and toxic gases such as SF6; – Vacuum arc interruption technology: with the innovative Shunt Vacuum Interruption (SVI)™, the device achieves efficient interruption without generating toxic by-products.
