Requirements for Participation in the Military Police of Ceará Competition
To participate in the public competition, interested parties must meet the following requirements:
- Completed high school;
- Minimum age of 18 and maximum of 29 years by the date of registration;
- National Driver’s License (CNH) in category “B”.
The remuneration during training is R$ 2,773.35, which rises to R$ 5,568.64 after graduation and appointment as a soldier in the Military Police of Ceará.
In addition to the base salary, those approved will be entitled to food assistance, specific bonuses such as GQP (Police Qualification Bonus), compensation for service reinforcement, social defense and citizenship bonuses, and additional payments for activities performed.

Registrations for the public competition for the Military Police of Ceará can be made between April 22 and May 11, 2025, exclusively through the website of the State University of Ceará (UECE), which is organizing the competition.

Stages of the Public Competition for Military Police
The public competition for the Military Police of Ceará will consist of five stages, all eliminatory and classificatory:
Objective test with 100 multiple-choice questions;
Health examination (medical, dental, biometric, and toxicological);
Psychological evaluation;
Physical Fitness Test (TAF);
Social investigation.
The objective test will be divided between basic knowledge (40 questions) and specific knowledge (60 questions), covering the following subjects:
- Portuguese Language / Text Interpretation – 12 questions
- Constitutional Law – 12 questions
- Military Criminal Law / Military Criminal Procedure – 12 questions
- Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure – 12 questions
- Logical Reasoning – 10 questions
- Current Affairs / History of Ceará – 10 questions
- Human Rights – 10 questions
- Public Administration and Ethics – 8 questions
- Criminology – 8 questions
The date of the exam will be announced in the Official State Gazette and on the UECE website.
Physical Test Will Be Decisive in the Selection
Candidates approved in the initial stages of the public competition for the Military Police of Ceará will take the Physical Aptitude Test (TAF). The test has different requirements for men and women:
Men:
Abdominal in 1 minute: minimum of 42 repetitions;
Dynamic pull-up in pronation: minimum of 6 repetitions;
12-minute run: minimum of 2,400m;
50-meter run: under 9 seconds.
Women:
Abdominal in 1 minute: minimum of 38 repetitions;
Static pull-up in pronation (isometric): minimum of 10 seconds;
12-minute run: minimum of 2,000m;
50-meter run: under 10 seconds.
