The stipulated workload in the announcement is 20 hours per week, to be fulfilled in a manner compatible with the candidate’s primary workload when they already have a professional bond.
The document states that these hours should be performed outside regular working hours, precisely to avoid overlapping workloads.
The activities may occur remotely or in person, depending on the guidance of the course coordination.
Among the responsibilities are the pedagogical monitoring of students, mediation in the virtual learning environment, support in evaluations, and participation in meetings with the course team.
Requirements and Professional Profile
The selection is aimed at professionals with higher education and experience in an educational context.
The announcement requires, as a general criterion, a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in basic education, proven through specific documentation.
In addition to academic training, IFCE indicates that proficiency in virtual learning environments, especially Moodle, is necessary.
Availability for occasional travel to in-person support centers is also required.
The process is open to both the internal community and external candidates to IFCE.
Specialization Blocks and Training Requirements
The tutoring opportunities are organized into discipline blocks of the Specialization in School Management.
For blocks EGE01, EGE02, EGE05, and EGE06, the candidate must have a degree in any area and a master’s in Education.
In the EGE03 Block, focused on Administrative Processes, the announcement accepts a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration, or a degree in any area, with a minimum of 6 months of experience in school financial management.
In the EGE04 Block, professionals with a degree in Pedagogy and a master’s in Education or a degree in any area with a specialization in School Management are accepted.
Affirmative Actions and Reserve of Places
The announcement provides that at least 25% of the places are reserved for affirmative actions.
The percentage covers candidates who are black (African or mixed-race), indigenous, people with disabilities (PwD), and transgender or travesti individuals.
Candidates wishing to compete under quotas must follow the specific guidelines in the announcement, presenting self-declarations and required documents.
This reserve list may be used throughout the 5-year term of the selection.
Validity and Classification Criteria
The selection for distance tutor in School Management has a validity of 5 years, starting from the publication of the final result.
During this period, IFCE may call new tutors as needed by the course.
The selection process consists of a single stage of curricular analysis, with a classificatory character.
The committee evaluates the documentation submitted at the time of application, considering education, teaching experience, school management experience, and graduate degree qualifications.
The final score determines the classification order within each discipline block, respecting the reserve of places for affirmative actions.
How to Apply for the Selection Process
Applications are made exclusively online, through the electronic form indicated in the announcement of the Specialization in School Management.
The application period runs from November 4 to 18, ending at 5 PM (Brasília time).
At the time of application, the candidate must attach a single PDF file (up to 10 MB) containing all required documentation and the evidence they intend to use for curricular scoring.
