President of ENBPar announces construction plan for the fourth nuclear power plant in Angra dos Reis

Ney Zanella, president of ENBPar, reveals that the construction of the fourth nuclear power plant in Angra dos Reis (RJ) and in Brazil is being planned. Its completion is scheduled for 2032, according to an article in O Globo. The plant will be the next after Angra 1 and Angra 2 – which are in normal operation – and Angra 3 – which had its works resumed this month and should start its operation in 2027.

Why did the revelation of plans for the new Brazilian nuclear power plant take place in Russia?
