For those looking to invest in academic and professional training this year, the Industry Social Service (Sesi Bahia) opened registrations for 9,090 vacancies for free online courses (EAD) in Youth And Adult Education (EJA Sesi) and an additional 1,120 vacancies in vocational training, in partnership with Senai.

The vacancies are distributed across Salvador, Camaçari, Feira de Santana, Juazeiro, Luís Eduardo Magalhães, Vitória da Conquista, Jequié, Ilhéus, and Teixeira de Freitas.

Who Can Enroll?

The vacancies for the free online courses (EAD) are intended for individuals over 18 years old who have not completed elementary school (6th to 9th grade) or high school (1st to 3rd grade). There is also the possibility of taking high school alongside a technical training in Vocational EJA, which combines schooling and professional qualification.

The Vocational EJA Includes Courses Such As:

Warehouse Management, Confectionery, Electrical Installations, Mobile Devices Maintenance, Industrial Production, Chemistry, Agricultural Mechanics, Footwear, and Electronics, among others.

Teaching Methodology And Exclusive Benefits

One of the major differences of EJA Sesi is the Knowledge Recognition Methodology (MRS), which acknowledges prior experiences and reduces the course completion time. The program uses exclusive teaching material, offers personalized pedagogical support (in-person and online), and provides a virtual learning platform with modern resources.

At EJA Sesi, 80% of the classes in the free courses are conducted online (EAD), with in-person meetings twice a week. The courses at Senai take place in well-equipped laboratories, focused on practical technical qualification classes.

Students in the free courses have access to a Oral Health Program, while those enrolled in the Vocational EJA in Salvador, Ilhéus, Camaçari, and Luís Eduardo Magalhães receive a monthly transportation assistance of R$ 150.
