For those who wish to invest in academic and professional training this year, the Social Service of Industry (Sesi Bahia) opened registrations for 9.090 places for free online courses (EAD) in Youth and Adult Education (EJA Sesi) and another 1.120 places in the professional training modality, in partnership with Senai.
The vacancies are distributed in Salvador, Camaçari, Feira de Santana, Juazeiro, Luís Eduardo Magalhães, Vitória da Conquista, Jequié, Ilhéus and Teixeira de Freitas.
Who can apply?
Places for free online courses (EAD) are intended for people over 18 years old who have not completed elementary school (6th to 9th grade) or high school (1st to 3rd grade). There is also the possibility of attending high school together with technical training in EJA Profissionalizante, which combines schooling and professional qualification.

It is necessary to present a 3×4 photo, ID, CPF, updated proof of residence with zip code and academic transcript or certificate of education. Candidates from private schools must present a declaration of low income. It is also possible to attach ENEM (up to 2016) or Encceja (from 2017) certifications, if available.

EJA Profissionalizante includes courses such as:
Warehouse, confectionery, building electricity, mobile device maintenance, industrial production, chemistry, agricultural mechanics, footwear and electronics, among others.
Teaching methodology and exclusive advantages
One of the great differentiators of EJA Sesi is the Knowledge Recognition Methodology (MRS), which recognizes previous experiences and reduces the time to complete the course. The program uses exclusive teaching materials, offers personalized pedagogical support (in person and online) and provides a virtual learning platform with modern resources.
At EJA Sesi, 80% of the free courses are held online (EAD), with face-to-face meetings twice a week. Senai courses take place in well-equipped laboratories, focused on practical technical qualification classes.

Students on free courses have access to an Oral Health Program, while those enrolled in EJA Profissionalizante in Salvador, Ilhéus, Camaçari and Luís Eduardo Magalhães receive a monthly transportation allowance of R$150.
