Historic Rise in Exports
The performance in exports was one of the most relevant points of the year. Brazil sold 332.5 million liters of beer abroad, a growth of 43.4% compared to 2023.
Revenue also rose, reaching US$ 204 million, an increase of 31.1%. This is the highest value ever recorded in the analyzed period.

In total, South America received 97.7% of exports, confirming the strength of the regional market for the industry.
Imports and European Presence
On the other hand, Germany remains the main supplier of beer to Brazil, with 3,185,550 liters imported, equivalent to 42.5% of the total volume.
Among the fifteen largest exporting countries to Brazil, nine are European, highlighting the continent’s relevance for supplying foreign labels in the internal market.
National Production and Preferred Styles
The declared production volume to Mapa reached 15.34 billion liters in 2024. Of this total, 24.7% is pure malt beer, produced without the use of adjuncts such as corn or wheat.
Among the styles, Lager Light Clear leads with 8.95 billion liters, equivalent to 58.3% of production.
Pilsener follows with 4.97 billion liters (32.4%). Other Lagers total 1.29 billion liters (8.5%).
The yearbook confirms that the Brazilian beer market is growing on different fronts: an increase in the number of brands, more establishments, diversification of products, and progress in external sales.
This performance strengthens the industry, increases job generation, and reinforces Brazil as one of the main players in the South American beer scene.
