Cargo And Passenger Transport Services For Up To Eight Platforms Between 2021 And 2026 Are Subject To Competition From Petrobras
PB-Log (Petrobras Logistics for Exploration and Production) sent a response to a Petrobras RFI on Tuesday (09/10) regarding supply services for cargo and transportation of personnel during the drilling and production campaigns of its rigs and platforms operating in the Santos Basin.
The tender aims to meet future demand in offshore activities, and the forecast from the ANP projects that 1,200 oil wells will be drilled by 2023.
The contract is expected to start in the third quarter of 2021 and run until the second quarter of 2026. The contract will involve inventory management activities, port operations, transportation of general cargo (land, maritime, and, eventually, air), integrated operational planning, fuel supply to vessels and aircraft, transportation of fluids and solid bulk, and acquisition and provision of potable water for platforms.

Cheaper than new HB20, Onix, and Argo, this German sedan offers a 510-liter trunk, a 2.0 naturally aspirated engine, a 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, and well-known mechanics; the 2016 Volkswagen Jetta Comfortline still draws attention in the used car market.
According to Petrobras’ forecast, the services of the contracted company will serve between two and four rigs until the second quarter of 2024 and one to four FPSOs starting in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Currently, the state company’s logistics operations in the Santos Basin are carried out by Triunfo Logistics, and the contract is expected to end in 2020.
The Company
PB-Log is a closed capital corporation based in Rio de Janeiro, founded on November 21, 2000, but changed its name to PB-Log only in 2012, after a complete reform of the company’s bylaws, aimed at allowing the provision of logistics services for oil and gas exploration and production operations in Brazil.
Among the services provided were multimodal cargo transportation, also contracting third parties for transport, handling, and storage of goods, as well as port and airport operations, and the provision of goods related to exploration and production activities, and also maritime support navigation services and two additional areas of operation: Construction, maintenance of wells, and formation evaluation and underwater engineering.
