Four-Year Agreement Between Petrobras and Irish Company Covers a Contract Worth US$ 87 Million; There Will Be Significant Demand for Offshore Professionals

Weatherford International plc announced the signing of a US$ 87 million contract for fishing and intervention services with Petrobras this Tuesday (09/10). The four-year agreement represents the largest fishing contract ever signed by Weatherford. It also constitutes the largest single global award for this project scope in decades.

“Weatherford is a global leader in fishing and intervention services, which facilitated the acquisition of the contract,” said Dean Bell, president of Well Construction at Weatherford.
