Course and selection details
The course offered is aimed at training in management of primary health care in health networks and regions, a central theme to strengthen the Unified Health System (SUS).
The selected candidates will play a crucial role in developing students' knowledge, collaborating with advisors and teams of pedagogical advisors.
According to the notice, published on December 17, 2024, the selection process includes two rigorous steps: document analysis and virtual interview.
The first phase assesses supporting documents, such as diplomas and professional experience, while the second analyzes the creativity, argumentation and potential contributions of candidates to the course.
Tutor-teachers will receive a monthly grant of R$2.500 for 13 months, period that includes the course and student certification activities.
This remuneration aims to attract qualified professionals, guaranteeing the high standard of teaching required by Fiocruz.
Who can apply?
The minimum requirement for candidates is to have a degree in a health-related field. However, there are additional criteria that have a decisive impact:
Certification of postgraduate studies lato sensu or stricto sensu in Public Health or Collective Health.
Proven experience in health services management and pedagogical or teaching activities.
Availability to dedicate 20 hours a week to course activities, which include classes, interactions with students and continuing education.
These requirements ensure that selected tutors have the appropriate technical and academic profile to offer quality support to students.
The Barema, available in the notice, details the score attributed to each of these aspects.
Activities and benefits
In addition to remote work, tutors will participate in face-to-face meetings in Brasília, with travel and daily expenses covered by the project, except for residents of the Federal District.
In-person meetings allow for the exchange of experiences and alignment with course guidelines, reinforcing the connection between tutors and the organizing team.
The tutors' duties include:
- Facilitation of synchronous online meetings with students.
- Mediation of the teaching-learning process, promoting the development of skills and values.
- Collaboration with advisors and pedagogical advisors in the construction of innovative educational strategies.
The course is an opportunity not only for attractive remuneration, but also for professional growth, with a direct impact on the training of future public health managers in Brazil.
Evaluation criteria and elimination stages
In the first phase, candidates submit their documents for analysis according to the Barema. The minimum score to advance is 5 points, and only the top 40 finishers advance to the next stage.
The second stage, a virtual interview, assesses skills such as creativity, argumentative skills and prospects for contributing to the course.
The final result will be announced on February 19, 2025, when the 20 effective teaching tutors and 10 substitutes will be formally called.
