The Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP) launched Notice No. 170/2024, which regulates the selective process to enroll in the free training course in construction technology integrated with secondary education at the Itapetininga Campus.
This is a unique opportunity for students who have completed elementary school and are seeking quality technical training, combined with continuing their studies in high school. The free course, offered for the first semester of 2025, has 40 places.
Course objective and workload
The free course aims to train young people to work in the construction sector, offering theoretical and practical knowledge. With a workload integrated with high school, students will have in-person classes at the Itapetininga Campus, participating in technical and general subjects. Complementary activities are planned, such as seminars and practical assessments.

Available vacancies and locations
The selection process for the free course offers 40 places for the course at the Itapetininga Campus. These places are distributed between open competition and different affirmative actions, according to the quota system.
Selection process
The selection will be carried out through an objective test consisting of 30 questions, 15 of which will be on Mathematics and 15 on Portuguese. Candidates who meet the affirmative action criteria will have reserved places, including those who studied entirely in public schools, who self-identify as black, brown or indigenous, or who have a disability.
Application requirements
To participate in the free course, candidates must have completed elementary school by the time of enrollment. Candidates must fill out the registration form correctly, provide their own CPF and have internet access to follow the process through the Instituto Federal-IFSP portal.

- Test: 09/02/2025
- Answer key release: 02/10/2025
- Preliminary result: 17/02/2025
- Call for registration: 14/03/2025
