Another important point: since everything is done online, the tutor needs to have a computer with internet access and a phone with a working camera and microphone, to participate in meetings, interact with students, and follow up on course activities. What Does an EAD Tutor Do?

Registration started on March 21 and will continue until April 14, 2025. Everything is done directly through the Federal University of Uberlândia website. There, you fill out the form, attach the required documents, and submit it. It’s important to fill out everything carefully to avoid being eliminated right at the start.
The selection process has two stages:
- Document Review — This is where they check whether you meet the basic requirements of the announcement. This phase eliminates those who do not have everything in order.
- Evaluation of Training and Experience — This is where points are awarded. They will analyze what you have studied and whether you have any experience in education. The more qualifications you have, the better your position on the list.
After this, the final ranking will be based on the scores from these two stages. Those with more points will rank higher. If you are approved, you will receive a monthly scholarship of R$ 765 and will work for up to 8 months, with the possibility of being called again if all goes well.
The activities will be conducted within the UFU’s Moodle platform, via the SIMEC/MEC system, in addition to other digital means that the team will indicate. Everything is done at your own pace because the work is asynchronous, which means you do not need to be online at the same time as the students or teachers.
