Brasfels Shipyard Has Contracts with Petrobras for the Construction and Repair of Ships and Platforms

The BrasFELS shipyard has been operating in Brazil since 2000, continuously improving training and infrastructure and building a strong track record of project delivery in Brazil. Among BrasFELS projects are: Floating Production Units (FPU), Floating Production, Storage and Offloading Units (FPSO), drillships, semi-submersible drilling rigs, platform supply vessels (PSV), and anchor handling tug supply vessels (AHTS).

Additionally, the Brasfels shipyard has a long-standing partnership with Petrobras, the largest oil and gas company in the country. In 2022, the shipyard delivered the P-78 platform to Petrobras, which operates in the Búzios field, in the pre-salt of the Santos Basin. The platform has the capacity to produce 180,000 barrels of oil and 7.2 million cubic meters of gas per day.
